I'm a camera operator shaped by international broadcast news, where I shot run-and-gun with small crews and was trusted to own the picture from start to finish: framing, lighting, gear, and live shots.

Over the years I've covered major sporting events, political meetings, natural disasters, entertainment, and rocket launches, often with little notice and a tight turnaround. That meant working in the field, on the road, and live on air, adapting quickly to whatever each location and story demanded.

Alongside daily news, I've shot longer, documentary-style features. Those projects call for a different approach, with more time spent on composition, character, and building a story across many scenes, and they've made me a more thoughtful shooter on every kind of job.

Now based in Tokyo, I've expanded into live event production. Working on live shows has broadened my skill set well beyond the camera and given me a much fuller picture of how every part of a production comes together.

While my primary skill is camera operation, I've also handled pre-production logistics, scheduling, equipment management, on-site coordination, and post-production editing. On any crew, I'm ready to step into whichever role helps the production most.
